Durable commercial mop buckets designed for high-usage cleaning environments. Available in various capacities with integrated wringers for effective water removal, our mop bucket range offers reliable performance in demanding facilities.

Commercial Mop Bucket Selection:

  • Capacity guide: 9–10 litre buckets for small areas and single-room use; 15–20 litre for corridor and open-floor cleaning; 25 litre for large-area mopping where frequent refilling would disrupt workflow
  • Wringer types: Side-press wringers suit Kentucky mop heads; down-press (pedal) wringers offer hands-free operation and are preferred in healthcare settings
  • Colour-coded systems: Red for washrooms and toilets, yellow for clinical areas, blue for general use, green for kitchens. Matching bucket, mop head, and cloth colour across zones prevents cross-contamination
  • Castors: Four-wheel castors with directional locking are essential for safe manoeuvring on wet floors without pushing water ahead of the bucket

The Double-Bucket Method:

In healthcare, food service, and high-hygiene environments, the double-bucket method: one bucket for clean solution, one for wringing dirty water into, which reduces the risk of spreading contamination between areas. Mopping with a single bucket redeposits bacteria-laden water with every stroke once the solution becomes soiled. Specify double-bucket sets for any environment where infection control is a formal requirement.

Wringer mechanisms are the most common failure point on commercial mop buckets. Choosing a brand with replaceable wringer parts extends bucket life considerably. A replacement wringer assembly costs far less than a new bucket.
